A friend of mine is going over to Paris for the weekend and I can honestly say I'm green with envy. I've been thinking a lot about Paris these days. I so miss that city and the lovely light that creates beautiful picture taking.

It's a blah gray day

Today has been one of those days where I wanted to get cozy under warm blankets, read a book and sip tea. My day was not that. Pushing a stroller in the pouring rain and feeling wet  was my reality.  These are some photos from my phone that captured the mood of the west village in Feb.

blogging is kinda hard

Keeping up with a blog is hard. It really is. It takes work and a whole lot of time. Life got in the way. I take pictures compulsively. Everyday. Many. I can't help myself, I love it. I see the world through a click of a camera and I have so many photos that I truly do not know what to do with them. I suppose I'm starting at the bottom and working my way up to a project idea starting with this photo theme.

veronica beard 2013 collection

Fashion week has arrived in NYC! Last week I attended the incredibly gorgeous spring 2013 Veronica Beard collection (I'm crazy for their blazers) at the Gramercy Park Hotel. A few of the models were sporting turbans that looked so crazy chic, it took me back to the days when I was in India wearing my own. Here's hoping the turban becomes the rage in the West Village.
